| Like most Americans (and, for that matter, most people in Western nations with some affluence) I love the movies. I envy Roger Ebert and others who make their living out of watching and reporting on them. So, it seems fitting -- heck, it's almost a requirement! -- to put on my web site one page that reflects that love. But, rather than just being totally egocentric and posting movies I like, I wanted this to be a bit more useful and meaningful to the average surfer, so here is Siskel & Ebert's Top 10 Lists for 1969 - 1998 ... which happens to coincide nicely with my prime viewing years (I was 16 in 1969). |

| One movie (I'm sure I'll think of others as time goes by) that isn't on this list that I really, really enjoy is
"Educating Rita" with Michael Caine. Movies that have colored backgrounds are ones that I remember seeing. There are two colors used, one to indicate that I strongly agree with Siskel and Ebert The other indicates that I somewhat agree. |
