Welcome!

History of this page

Please read this -- if you haven't already.

This page is only a small part of my personal Web site. When I put this particular page about Rinn Boats up (sometime around November 1995), the Rinns did not have a Web presence. I put the information here as a friendly gesture. I receive no remuneration or payment from them, in any way. I also believe that the Flower Gardens is a natural wonder, and I felt I was helping get the word out by way of this page and some of its links.

Sometime mid-year 1996, Rinn put up their own Web site ( http://www.rinnboats.com ), so this page was technically redundant. However, in my significantly-less-than-infinite wisdom, I decided to keep this page up and running. A lot of infrequent Web surfers may have set a bookmark to it, and I'd hate to have them think the Flower Gardens had gone away!

But I've suffered a bit of fall-out from keeping the page up and running. Many people send me e-mail AS IF *I* am Rinn Boats, rather than simply the messenger. Sigh!

So, now I'm compelled to spend all this time (yours and mine) explaining this in detail. It's all my fault, of course! Well, anyway, please consider the informaiton below as that posted by someone only being helpful. If you have any questions or comments that should go DIRECTLY to the Rinn's, please review their Web site first (they detail their policies on their site, for example). If you still need to contact them, I strongly suggest you call or fax them or e-mail THEM rather than using me as a middle-man.

Now, if you have questions or comments and would like to hear from an objective observer (that's ME!), then come ahead with your questions! I'll be happy to answer whatever I can.
